Michael Cannivet is the founder, portfolio manager and President of Silverlight Asset Management, an investment advisory firm serving high net worth private clients.

There he worked under the tutelage of acclaimed investor and Forbes columnist, Ken Fisher. In 2009, he co-authored Fisher Investments on Consumer Staples, published by John Wiley & Sons.
Michael received a Bachelor’s degree in Government from Georgetown University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Outside of work, Michael is an active supporter of Make-a-Wish Foundation and serves as a Wish Granter. Silverlight aims to sponsor wish children as part of its long-term mission, “adopting” an ever-growing number of wishes as our organization grows in tandem with client capital. Michael resides in Ladera Ranch, California with his wife Jennifer and two sons.
